Gassville, Ark. - John William Goodall, 86, formerly of Wyatt, Mo., died at 8:10 p.m. Sept. 18, 2005, at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.
Born May 15, 1919, in Olive Branch, Ill., he was the son of the late Charlie Richard and Lue Etta Fowler Goodall. He had lived in Wyatt most of his life and had been employed as grain elevator maintenance supervisor with Bunge Corporation until his retirement. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
On Sep. 12, 1944, he married Thelma N. Modglin who preceded him in death on Dec. 27, 2001.
Surviving are: one daughter, Tiffany Bradley of Charleston, Mo.; one brother, Ernest "Rip" Goodall of Granite City, Ill.; one sister, Clara Mae Heffner of Delta, Mo.; and one grandson, Caleab Zachary Bradley of Charleston.
Two brothers, Charley Homer Goodall and Joe Goodall, and one sister, Cora Jane Heinsohn, also preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston until services at 11 a.m. with Bill Bradley, pastor of the Morley Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
