RIPLEY -- Jewel Francis Wright, 95, died July 29, 2005, at the Beverly Healthcare Center in Ripley.
Daughter of the late Daniel and Dora Street Shelton, she was a homemaker and a member of the North Ripley Baptist Church.
Her husband, Billy C. "Bill" Wright, preceded her in death.
One stepson, William C. "Bill" Forehand; two sisters, Gracie Jobe and Ruth Walker; one brother, Lee Roy Shelton; and four grandchildren also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three daughters and sons-in-law, Marjorie and Abe Roffman of Southaven, Shirley and Bud Eidson of Meridian and Dorothy and Herman Windham of New Albany; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Charles Wright of Blue Mountain, Neil and Beverly Wright of Sikeston, Myrle and Marsha Wright of Pensacola, Fla., and Jim Wright of El Paso, Texas; one brother, Alvie Shelton of Nesbit; and many grandchildren, great-
grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted Sunday at McBride Funeral Home in Ripley. Lamar Grisham officiated.
Burial followed in the Antioch Cemetery.
