ST. LOUIS -- Margaret Marie Ward, 90, formerly of Sikeston, died March 5, 2006, at Sunset Health and Rehabilitation Center in St. Louis.
Born Nov. 16, 1915, in New Madrid County, daughter of the late William Roy and Pearl Mae Bruce Parks, she was of the Baptist belief.
She married Haskell Ray Ward Sr. who preceded her in death in 1972.
Three sons, Donald Ray Ward, Harry Levi Ward and John Ward; and one daughter, Margaret Ward, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sons, Jesse Roy Ward of Fenton and Larry Fremont Ward and Haskell Ray Ward Jr., St. Louis; five daughters, Dema Ward of Hayti, Bonnie Vogel of Orlando, Fla., Wanda Nold of Belleville, Ill., Loretta "Lori" Gilstrap of Peachtree City, Ga., and Pansy "Pat" Pautler of Waterloo, Ill.; two sisters, Imogene Johnson of Hygiene, Colo., and Wahana Vellutini of Sonora, Calif.; and 25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and six great-great-
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Jim Barnhart of Miner Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
