PORTAGEVILLE - Rogers Irene Rhoades, 78, died Nov. 7, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Feb. 18, 1927, in Decatur, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Fera Morgan and Locie Jones.
On Jan. 16, 1946, in Bragg City, she married J.D. Dewey "Slim" Rhoades who preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were: two brothers, James Jones and Fred Jones; one sister, Willine Jones; and two grandchildren, Kimberly Rhoades and April Rhoades.
Survivors include: three sons, Dale Rhoades, Ricky Rhoades and Wayne Rhoades of Portageville; one brother, William Jones of Marble Hill; two sisters, Nellie Haves of Wardell and Sue Jordon of Scotts Hill, Tenn.; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is at 5 p.m. today at DeLisle Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Scott Andrews officiating.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
The Portageville Fire Department will serve as pallbearers.
