ESSEX - Zelma Arith Findley, 86, died Nov. 5, 2005, at the Southern Healthcare Facility in Dexter.
Born Sept. 11, 1919, in Victor, Ark., daughter of the late James and Margaret Ford Boyd, she had lived in Essex for the past 58 years and was a member of the Bird's Corner Assembly of God near Essex.
On Oct. 23, 1937, in Leachville, Ark., she married Paul Findley who survives of the home.
Also surviving are: one daughter, Betty Mott of Essex; one granddaughter, JoAnn Holt of Essex; and one great-granddaughter, Tiffanie Holt of Essex.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry Findley and James Warren Findley, and five brothers, Alford Boyd, Robert Boyd, Buford Boyd, Floyd Boyd and Silas Boyd.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Robert Sneed of Sikeston will officiate assisted by the Rev. Mike Brown of Essex.
Burial will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
