MANCHESTER, Tenn. - Westley and Shelley Hazel are the parents of their second child, first son, born Sept. 27, 2005, in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Deacon Dale Hazel weighed 5 pounds 10 ounces and was 19.75 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Steve and Kay Simmons of Cape Girardeau.

Hazel, son of John and Janie Hazel of Sikeston, is a minister for the Main Street Church of Christ in Manchester.

EAST PRAIRIE - Leslie and John Allgier are the parents of their second child, second daughter, born at 10:04 p.m. Sept. 29, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Layne Riley Allgier weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce and was 19.5 inches long.

Mrs. Allgier, daughter of Randy and Claudia Arington of East Prairie and the late Glenda Arington, is employed with East Prairie R-2 Schools as a preschool teacher.

Allgier, son of Laura Riley of New Madrid and Mike Allgier of Portageville, is employed with Noranda Aluminum.

FLORENCE, Ala. - Ronda Renee and Matthew David Hyslip are the parents of their first child, a son, born at 1:54 p.m. Sept. 30, 2005, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Ala. Logan Evan Hyslip weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

Maternal grandparent is Imogene Gaines of Sikeston.

Paternal grandparents are Jim Hyslip of Lexington, Ala. and Cindy Wilburn of Loretto, Tenn.

Great-grandparents are Arnold and Sue Myrick of Sikeston.

Hyslip is currently serving in the Air Force.
