MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Donald Earl Culp, 72, formerly of Gray Ridge, Mo., and Sikeston, Mo., died April 16, 2005, at the Methodist University Hospital in Memphis of acute leukemia.
Born Jan. 14, 1933, son of the late Matthew and Thelma Culp, he was a veteran of the Korean War. A distribution manager for Keebler Co., he retired in 1994 after 33 years of service.
On Dec. 21, 1957, he married Wanda Bishop, who survives.
Also surviving are: one daughter and son-in-law, Rod and Melissa Culp Hudson of Olive Branch, Miss.; one son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Wanda R. Culp of Memphis; two sisters-in-law, Jean Weir and Flora Reid of Memphis; and three grandchildren, Shane and Shawn Brauer of Olive Branch and Matthew Culp of Memphis.
Services were conducted April 19, 2005, at the Forest Hill Funeral Home in Midtown. The Rev. William "Bud" Culp officiated.
Burial followed in the Forest Hill Cemetery at Midtown.
Pallbearers were Donald M. Culp, Shane Brauer, Shawn Brauer, Matthew Culp, Rod Hudson and Jim Music.
