DELTA - Dorothy Marie Johnson, 89, died at 9:50 p.m. June 23, 2005, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

Born Dec. 30, 1915, in Allenville, daughter of the late Robert Newton and Myrtle Mae Byrne Amos, she was a retired housekeeper from the Chaffee General Hospital in Chaffee. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Delta where she worked in the nursery for many years. She was also a member of the WMU.

In 1936, she married Walter Schwepker who preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 1953. She later married Homer Johnson who also preceded her in death.

One son, two brothers, one sister and one great-granddaughter also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two sons, Bob Schwepker of Blomeyer and Jack Johnson of Delta; three brothers, James Amos of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Max Amos and Nelson Amos of Jackson; two sisters, Lois Eichhorn of Cape Girardeau and Mary Dannenmueller of Chaffee; and two grandchildren and five great-

grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Eric Hodge will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Kenyon Cemetery in Delta.

Pallbearers will be: Tommy Gaddis, Tony Rhodes and Greg Branson.
