Leonard takes first at Sikeston Drag Strip

SIKESTON -- David Leonard won the feature race in the ET class at the Sikeston Drag Strip on Saturday against some stiff competition.

Leonard, driving a Camaro owned by Ricky Skelton, ran at 95.78 mph in an elapsed time of 7.05 seconds with a reaction time of .624.

Daniel Pharris, in a Chevrolet Nova, was the runner-up with an average speed of 91.63 mph in an elapsed time of 7.46 seconds and a reaction time of .585.
