SIKESTON - Albert Richard Middleton, 68, died Oct. 9, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Aug. 19, 1937, in Flint, Mich., son of the late William Henry and Ruth Emaline McGregory Middleton, he was a truck driver for Hedrick Block and Brick Co. for 11 years and the Community Shelter Children's Workshop for 10 years before retiring.
On Sept. 24, 1966, he married Ruth Lee Shemwell, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Timothy Albert "Tim" Middleton of Sikeston and Steve Middleton of O'Fallon; one daughter, Sheila Eberhardt of the state of Indiana; and five grandchildren.
Four sisters, Beatrice Irene Creed, Lillian Walworth, Eva June Walworth and Marie Middleton, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Leo Schott, lay speaker for the First United Pentecostal Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery at Lilbourn.
