DUDLEY - Richard Barker, 56, died Oct. 8, 2005, at the Missouri Southern Healthcare Facility in Dexter.
Born Dec. 19, 1948, in Gideon, son of the late Ralph and Ida Dillinger Barker, he had lived in Dudley since he was 16. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Dexter and was a self- employed fish farmer.
On Jan. 3, 1969, in Dudley, he married Donna Gant, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Janelle and Steve Gibson of Seattle, Wash.; two brothers, Ralph Barker of Monroe, La., and Jim Barker of Bentonia, Miss.; four sisters, Jean Yates of St. Louis, Frances Stewart of Doniphan, Carolyn Lowery of Illinois and Betty Barnes of Mt. View; and one grandson.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. Tuesday until time for services at 1 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. David Dohogne of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dudley Cemetery.
