After one round, Blake Pendergrass was in second place with a 34, two-under par of nine holes.
The second day, Pendergrass made a push toward the front, shooting a one-
under 35, for an 18-hole score of 69. The score was good enough for three-
under-par for the tournament, and set an 18-hole championship scoring record.
Through three rounds, Pendergrass shot an even par 36, which kept him at three-under for the tournament, good enough for yet another record for 27 holes at 105.
Pendergrass wasn't done setting records just yet, as he shot a 38 on day four of the tournament in the final round, finishing up with a score of 143, and a first place finish. The score was good enough for a one-under-par finish overall, and a new low-score record in the championship.
