DEXTER -- Elsie Mae Ridenour, 90, died June 9, 2005, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter.
Born May 25, 1915, near Dexter, daughter of the late Oscar Edward and Betty E. Jarrells Masterson, she had lived in the Dexter community most of her life. She was a homemaker and member of the Sadlers Chapel United Methodist Church near Dexter.
On Sept. 1, 1941, in St. Charles, she married Homer E. Ridenour who preceded her in death on July 26, 1998.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, James Masterson, Louis Masterson and Adam Masterson; and three sisters, Nancy Masterson, Melissa Masterson and Ella Casey.
Survivors include: one son, Freddy Ridenour of Dexter; one daughter, Peggy Temples of Bernie; two sisters, Sophia Deason and Mary Fairchild of Dexter; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from noon Sunday until time for services at 2 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Steve Fitzpatrick of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Sadlers Chapel Cemetery near Dexter.
