BENTON -- Mary Jane Bollinger, 82, died July 14, 2005, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born Sept. 26, 1922, at Benton, daughter of the late Levi and Ertie Cannon Brock, she was a graduate of Benton High School and a lifelong resident of Benton. The family owned and operated Scott County Abstract Co. for many years, where she was a secretary for 25 years. The company was sold to her niece and husband, Carol and Tom Gilmore, and is now called SEMO Title Co. in Sikeston. She was a member of the St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton.
On Aug. 31, 1941, in Benton, she married Orland J. Bollinger, who preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 2004.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Orland J. and Linda Bollinger of Benton; and one grandson and his wife, O.J. and Ashley Bollinger of Benton.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Benton Funeral Home with parish prayers at 5 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. Denis Church Cemetery.
