TAYLOR, Mich. - William Charles Yeakey, 75, formerly of Aid, Mo., died March 21, 2006, in the Oakwood Hospital at Taylor.
Born March 27, 1930, at Aid, son of the late William David and Holly Fern Teer Yeakey, he was an inspector for Chrysler Corporation.
He was first united in marriage to Ava Martha Blassingame who preceded him in death. He then married Gertrude Ella Miller, who also preceded him in death.
Survivors include: two sons, Donald Ray Yeakey of Dalton, Ga., and William Dale Yeakey of River Rough, Mich.; one stepdaughter, Wanda Kirchoff of Romulus, Mich.; two brothers, Harry Yeakey of O'Fallon and Larry Yeakey of Bloomfield, Mo.; two sisters, Patty Christian of Dexter, Mo., and Karen Miller of Jackson, Tenn.; and 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from noon until time of funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Tim Kirchoff will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
