SCOTT CITY -- Theresa Gaye Steagall, 43, died at 8:05 p.m. June 11, 2005, at her home.
Born May 9, 1962, at Peoria, Ill., daughter of Cecil Claude Harris of Chillicothe, Ill., and Wanda Sue Jackson Harris Schwartz of Scott City, she was a registered nurse in the med-surge department at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was of the Baptist belief.
On July 13, 2001, at Benton, she married Paul William Steagall.
In addition to her husband and parents, survivors include: her stepfather, Bill Schwartz of Scott City; two sons, Lucas Steagall and Samuel Steagall of the home; two daughters, Ashley Lynn of Scott City and Rachael Lynn of the home; four brothers, Marcus Harris of Port Orchard, Wash., Wade Harris of O'Fallon, Darrell Harris of Fenton and Kevin Gresham of Bakersfield, Calif.; a stepbrother, Kevin Schwartz of Cohutta, Ga.; two sisters, Deborah Griffin and Lori Dobbs of Jackson; a stepsister, Chrystal Harris of Chillicothe; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Terry V. Lynn II.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City where services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Barry Pfanstiel officiating.
Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
