ANNISTON - Nadine Self Haley, 80, died at 7:30 p.m. May 30, 2005, at her residence in Anniston.

Born April 29, 1925, in Lilbourn to the late Willie and Leoda Bashears Armer, she lived most of her life in Mississippi County and was a member of the St. James General Baptist Church.

On Feb. 7, 1941, she married Charles Self Jr., who preceded her in death on May 14, 1994. On Oct. 24, 1997, she married Fred Haley, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Rodger Self of Anniston; three daughters, Joyce Russell of Wyatt, Chyrl Reinbott of Scott City and Melissa Morris of Campbell; three stepdaughters, Barbara Sanderson of East Prairie, Sandy Miller of Sikeston and Terry Boody of Jackson; one sister, Opal Holt of Catron; and 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren and six great-stepgrandchildren.

Two daughters, Wanda Sue Self and Merry Carol Kapales; three brothers, Charles, James ?Buddy? and R.D. Armer preceded her in death.

Visitation will begin after 5 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday. David Dowdy will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Groves, Charlie Tatum, Ronnie Presson, Travis Quetermous, T.W. McDermott and Johnny Layton.
