Martha Bingham

SALTILLO, Tenn. - Martha Littlefield Bingham, 68, died April 29, 2006, at Jackson-Madison County General in Jackson, Tenn.

She was united in marriage to Alex Eugene Bingham who survives.

Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Jena Margaret Bingham Cook and her husband, Phillip Douglas Cook of Sikeston; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Anita and Malloy Newman of Morris Chapel, Tenn.; Mary Ann Handy of Adamsville, Tenn. and Margaret and Arthur Gardner of Jackson, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Trey Cook, Sarah Cook and Sam Cook; four nephews, David Newman, Steve Handy, Roy Handy and Doug Gardner; and one niece, Lou Ann Newman Mayo.

One brother-in-law, Donald Handy preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Saltillo Methodist Church.

Burial will follow in Pine Hill Memory Gardens in Adamsville.

Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, Tenn. is in charge of arrangements.
