CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Julia Laverna Wilson, 96, died at 10:05 a.m. May 1, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
Born Dec. 28, 1909, in Lamar, Ind., daughter of the late John M. and Georgia Anna Oliveano Ryker, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God at Chaffee.
In 1929, she married Aaron Culbertson who preceded her in death in 1947. In 1951, she married David Stidham who preceded her in death in 1975. She later married Willis Wilson in 1978, and he preceded her in death in 1988.
One son, one daughter, three brothers, three sisters, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son, Aaron Culbertson of Morley; three daughters, Ella Dowd of Chaffee, Julia Gregory of Cape Girardeau and Nancy Cook of Sedgewickville; and 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled at 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Vyron Yount will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
