Born April 2, 1942, in East Prairie to the late John Shelby and Martha Ellen Northcutt Turner, she worked at Blair Industries in Scott City until retirement and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Chaffee.
On October 28, 1994, she married Sammie E. Garrett, who survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, William Morrison of Chaffee and Rickey Morrison of Sikeston; two daughters, Cindy Sue Moyers of Patton and Martha Morrison of New Madrid; two stepsons, Mark Garrett and Richard Garrett of Marston; two brothers, Willard Turner of East Prairie and Wayne Turner of Chaffee; one sister, Dorothy O'Dell of Oran; and17 grandchildren and 18 great-
grandchildren.
One stepson, David Garrett; four sisters, Mable Campbell, Ada L. Smith, Ruth Parker and Nadine Turner; and two brothers, Junior Turner and Billy Turner preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday with Darren Larkins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: William Morrison, Rickey Morrison, Richard Garrett, Mark Garrett, Danny Dunning and Gary Moyers.
