RICHLAND, Miss. -- Elizabeth Olene Greenwood, 72, formerly of East Prairie, Mo., died at 11 p.m. March 13, 2006, at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood.
Born Feb. 5, 1934, in Cardwell, Mo., daughter of the late Howard Bruce and Mary Lucille (Bradley) Greenwood, she was a graduate of East Prairie High School. After graduation she moved to the St. Louis, Mo., area, working at a local bank. She moved to the Jackson, Miss., area in 1970, where she worked for several years as a guard at the Jackson International Airport. She was a member of the First Christian Church of East Prairie.
Survivors include: one sister, Anna Sue Kinsolving of East Prairie; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Wayne and Alice Greenwood of Wood River, Ill., Billy and Virginia Greenwood of East Prairie, Bobby Greenwood of Richland and Jerry and Judy Greenwood of East Prairie; a sister-in-law, Betty Greenwood of Arnold, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Weldon Greenwood; a brother-in-law, Don Kinsolving and a sister-in-law, Gladys Greenwood.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Dogwood Cemetery in East Prairie with Martin Lucas presiding.
Wilson-McReynolds Funeral Home in Marion, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
