NEW HAMBURG -- Mary Helen Glastetter, 91, died at 3:50 p.m. Sept. 21, 2007, at the Monticello House in Jackson.
Born Dec. 28, 1915, at St. Louis, to the late Stanley and Angela Kotraka Kosciulek, she was a homemaker and member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality in New Hamburg.
On May 6, 1939, she married Leon Glastetter who preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 1998.
One daughter, five brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two sons, Gene Glastetter of Paducah, Ky., and Jim Glastetter of O'Fallon; three daughters, Pat Schott of New Hamburg, Carolyn Heeley of St. James and Virginia "Nina" Wiedefeld of Jackson; one brother, Stanley Kosciulek Jr. of Grandin; one sister, Helen Hazelroth of St. Louis; and 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted today at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg. The Rev. Normand Varone officiated.
Burial followed in the St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Melvin Schott Jr., Steve Heeley, Tim Heeley, Michael Heeley, Barrett Glastetter, David Glastetter and Matthew Hileman.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
