Otto Buchheit

ST. ANN - Otto V. Buchheit, 87, died June 29, 2005.

He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the Cement Mason's Local 527 for more than 50 years. He also belonged to the Holy Name Society, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

His wife of 59 years, Arlene G. Unterreiner Buchheit, survives of the home.

Other survivors include: ten children and their spouses: David and Judy Buchheit, Donald and Barbara Buchheit, Col. Nathan and Jan Buchheit, Claude and Susan Buchheit and Joseph and Donna Buchheit, Catherine and Roger Montgomery, Theresa and Dennis Wollin, Sally and Rich Montgomery, Etta and Thomas Johnson and Rita and Scott Waldman; one brother, Rudolph Buchheit; two sisters, Helen Welker and Lorine Kutz; and 43 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday at Colliers Funeral Home in St. Ann. Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Parish in St. Ann.

Burial will follow in Jefferson Barracks.
