SIKESTON - Kylie Melynn Davis, 7, died at 12:05 p.m. Feb. 11, 2006, at Missouri Southern Hospital in Dexter.
Born Aug. 21, 1998, in Sikeston, daughter of Lyle Dean "Deano" Davis and Ida Lou Dodds Davis of Sikeston, she was a kindergarten student at Kelly Elementary School at Benton and a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, survivors include: her stepmother, Connie Davis of Sikeston; her stepfather, Jimmy Williams of the home; two sisters, Brittany Davis and Ceara Davis of the home; two half sisters, Ashley Edwards of Sikeston and Nikki Edwards of East Prairie; one stepsister, Chasity Clark of Sikeston; maternal grandmother, Wanda Compas of Farmington; paternal grandparents, Lyle and Wilma Davis of Bell City; maternal great-grandmother, Kattie Huggins of Sikeston; maternal great-grandfather, Oneal Wimberley of Sikeston; paternal stepgrandparents, Travis and Belva Oneal of Union Star; and one nephew, Rilan Summers of Sikeston.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Old Bethel Baptist Church. The Rev. Steve Vester, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will follow at Silent Hill Cemetery near Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: Michael Paul Stanberry, George Lewis, Marc Boardman, Justin Rapert, Howard Williams Jr. and Cecil Williams.
