MIDDLEBURG, Fla. - Born March 1, 1962, in Sikeston, Mo., 45-year-old Dawn "Libby" Hastings died unexpectedly at her home on Dec. 2, 2007.
She was a homemaker and avid gardener. She attended school in Sikeston and Salt Lake City and attended Murray Lane Baptist Church.
She is survived by her parents, Larry Boyer of Sikeston and Evelyn Boyer of Orlando; two daughters, Brandy Hastings and Jessica (Will) Gonzales; two sons, Spencer Flynn and Robert Dakotah Miller. Also surviving are: brother, Kevin (Kim) Boyer of Columbia, Mo. and sister, Dr. Kara (Rusty) Gowan of Orlando; maternal grandmother, Verna Lyons of Salt Lake City; and six grandchildren, two nephews and her longtime companion, Jerry Justice.
Preceding her in death were: maternal grandfather, L.W. Lyons of Salt Lake City; and paternal grandparents, Cecil and Alice Boyer of Sikeston.
A private family service followed by cremation was held in Green Cove Springs.
