CHARLESTON -- The investigation of a weekend shooting in Charleston continues.
On Friday, the Charleston Department of Public Safety received a report of a person shot near the intersection of Vine and Elm Streets in Charleston, a news release said. Responding officers found Anthony Kent, 46, of Charleston with a gunshot wound to the face. Kent was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
The incident is still under investigation, according to Robert E. Hearnes, Charleston DPS director, and no arrests have been made. No further information was available at press time.

The coroner said Johnson's body will be sent to the State Crime Lab in Little Rock, where an autopsy will be performed.
