CANALOU -- Mary Frances Drake, 77, died at 6:55 a.m. May 4, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Feb. 16, 1929, in Marston, daughter of the late James and Freddie Marie Masters Carter, she was a lifelong resident of Canalou where she was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

On Feb. May 6, 1946, in Canalou, she married Doyle Eugene "Gene" Drake who preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 1977.

Three sons, one sister and one granddaughter also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Peggy Drake of New Madrid; two daughters and one son-in-law, Barbara and Wayne Davidson of Matthews and Debra Drake of Canalou; and 17 grandchildren and 23 great-

grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Mike Cartwright, pastor of the Assembly of God Church of Canalou, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Drake, Chris Drake, Rickie Drake, Larry Joe Drake, Matthew Perez, Michael Perez and Chris Hart.
