KIRKWOOD - Charles Laudrum "C.L." Kirkman, 70, died Jan. 30, 2006, at his home.
Born July 26, 1935, in Kennett, son of the late Clyde Laudrum and Evelyn West Kirkman, he was a retired school teacher from St. Louis Public Schools, where he taught for 27 years. He was a 1953 graduate of Kennett High School and a graduate from what is now the Harris Stowe State College. He appeared with the St. Louis Opera Company for several years.
Survivors include: one sister and brother-in-law, Merry Ann and George St. Onge of Sikeston; two nephews, Paul Robert St. Onge and wife, Cindy, of South Fulton, Tenn., and Phil St. Onge of Gulf Shores, Ala.; one niece and her husband, Pam and Keith Lovett of Lakeland, Fla.; and two great-nephews and two-geat nieces.
