Speakout 5/1

Monday, May 1, 2006

I'd like to know when our hummingbirds our coming home. If anyone sees one, would you please put it in SpeakOut. I'm kind of late getting my feeders up, but I want to be ready for them when they come back.

I would like to know where I can get some poppy seed. I've looked everywhere in Sikeston. If anyone knows where I can obtain some, would you please put it in SpeakOut?

I don't know who the grieving widow was in the SpeakOut column, but whoever wrote the cruel, vicious note to her, they don't know it, but the end times are coming and they will be judged. I lost my husband twice when he had quadruple heart surgery and God gave him back to me to love and care for him. He was my childhood sweetheart, we've been married for ten years and I love this man very much. You are in my prayers. We love you very much. When this person goes to Heaven, they won't be up there for about ten seconds. Because let me tell you something, what goes around, comes around. Don't worry about it, Sweetheart. You are in my prayers. God loves you and so do we.

To the person who called in and said to tell everyone that if they didn't like America to leave, well, if you don't like America and you don't like what people say about America, have you ever heard of a thing called free speech? We don't need people like you in this country. I've got an idea, why don't you go over and live with Osama Bin Laden? He would just love people like you. Next time you see a flag, don't salute it. That would just be an insult to the American flag. You're talking to a person who is an Army brat's daughter. I am proud to be an American and if you don't like it, lump it, lumphead.

I'd like to say to the person who thinks George Bush is the best president we ever had, I got news for you. Our president has brought some of our troops home, but there are some that have not come home alive. There are some that have come home in body bags. Just think about it for a minute. How would you like to come home in a body bag? Jennifer Lynch will never be out of a wheelchair. Next time George Bush goes to Iraq or Iran or Pakistan or somewhere like that, why don't you go over there and spend some time with Bin Laden? We should have went after him before we went after Hussein. I'd like to say you are a knothead. I think anybody like you needs to have their head shot off slowly like the people they torture over there. Get out of America because we don't want you.

I'm calling about the girls' soccer games. The varsity, they get the big write-

up in the paper even when they lose. But the junior varsity just gets a couple of lines even when they win. What's up with that? JV should get just as much coverage as varsity, because after all, they practice just as much and just as hard and play just as well as the varsity. I don't know where the fairness is in that. After all, Sikeston sports has never been fair. Why should we be surprised?

This is for the young lady that wrote the truth hurts. It sure does. Why would she expect other people to pay for her mistakes? There are only two people that can really be blamed for her mistake. She can look in the mirror and see one. And then she can get a hold of the father of that baby and make him start paying. Otherwise, she's gonna have another baby, or two, and he won't be responsible for any of them 'cause won't nobody go after him. Why should the government pay you when you are able to work? You can get you a job at 16 and you can also go to work and go to school. I'm sure that someone will take care of your baby. Quit worrying about your Dad. It's a little late to start worrying about him now.
