Helen Campbell

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Helen L. Campbell, 87, passed away May 1, 2006, at Health Care at Adams Place.

A native of Pitman, Ark., she was a military wife and lived in many states before moving to Murfreesboro where she lived for the past 46 years. She was a member of Third Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by: her husband, Doyle Campbell, her parents, Robert H. and Bird Lewis Legate; and five brothers.

She is survived by: a son, Robert Campbell of Antioch, Tenn.; a daughter, Kaye Stanley of Federal Way, Wash.; three grandchildren, Kimberly Stanley Cain of West Africa, Jennifer Beacroft of Pennsylvania and Amy Keane of Massachusetts; and four great-grandchildren, Caroline Cain, Caleb Cain, Emily Beacroft and Ryan Keane.

Visitation is at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.

Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. in Mounds Cemetery at Lilbourn.
