NEW MADRID - Mary Mae Olhausen Faulkner, 91, died Aug. 8, 2005, at her home.

Born Jan. 11, 1914, at Ridgely, Tenn., to the late Walter and Naomi Olhausen, she was a member of the New Madrid Baptist Church and a devoted wife, mother and Mimi.

On July 29, 1939, in Portageville, she married Hugh Faulkner, who preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 1988.

Also she was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister and a son-in-law, Danny Kerr.

Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Sam and Marcy Faulkner and Rick and Cindy Faulkner of LaForge; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra Kerr of Chandler, Ind., and John and Phyllis Wescoat of New Madrid; one sister, Martha Nell Sutton of Longview, Wash.; 11 grandchildren, Kevin Kerr, Keith Kerr, Cary Kerr, Samuel Faulkner, Amanda Sexton, Lisa Cox, Laura Beth Faulkner, Paula Hayes, Stacey Hutcherson, John Paul Wescoat, Abbie Cooper; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Richards Funeral Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in New Madrid. The Rev. Gene Lancaster will officiate assisted by the Rev. Tom McCanless.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Samuel Faulkner, Kevin Kerr, Cary Kerr, Keith Kerr, John Paul Wescoat and Danny Hayes.
