IMPERIAL -- Bernice Yvonne Sandlin, 85, died March 21, 2006, at the Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City.
Born Feb. 12, 1921, in Flippin, Ark., daughter of the late John Fred and Grace Reed Flippin, she had lived in Dudley until 1979 before moving to Imperial.
On Nov. 1, 1941, she married Clifford Ray Sandlin who preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 1973.
Also preceding her in death were two sons, Paul Wayne and Gary Lynn Sandlin; one brother, Clifton Flippin; and one sister, Lola Martin.
Survivors include: two sons, Ronald Ray Sandlin of Hillsboro and John Alan Sandlin of Alton, Ill.; two daughters, Anita Kay Moore of Imperial and Sharon Ann Martin of Baltimore; two brothers, James Flippin of Wichita, Kan., and Hugh Flippin of Dudley; one sister, Dorothy Cox of Poplar Bluff; and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until time of services at 2 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. The Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
