Carla Brown

Born Mary 15, 1964, at Fort Riley, Kan., daughter of Jerry and Yong Cha Kang Philpott of Kingman, Ariz., she was a homemaker.

On Nov. 30, 1993, at Zalma, she married James Brown who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Gary Don Turner III of Bloomfield; one daughter, Amber Dawn Duncan of Kennett; one brother, Jerry Lee Philpott of Atlanta; two sisters, Sondra Link of DeSoto and Sue Ann Taylor of Morley; and one granddaughter.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday with Bill Smith officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery near Advance.
