WYATT - James Robert "Jamie" Blasingain, 29, died at 3 p.m. Dec. 16, 2006, in Wyatt.
Born Aug. 16, 1977, in Sikeston, to LeRoy James Blasingain and Sheila Kay Vinson, both of Charleston, he lived all his life in Mississippi County. He was employed as a deckhand by CBG Waterfront in Cairo, Ill.
In addition to his parents, survivors include: two brothers, LeRoy James Jr. Blasingain Jr. of East Prairie and Jason Michael Blasingain of Charleston; three sisters, Shawna Marie Vinson of Diehlstadt, Brandy Mae Vinson of Atlanta and Misty Dawn Basham of MacClenny, Fla.; stepmother, Kim Blasingain of Charleston; maternal grandmother, Bertha Allene Hedge of Charleston; step-
paternal grandparents, Clarence and Lucille Summerfield of East Prairie; and special friend, Crystal Fitzgerald.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ruby and James Blasingain; and maternal grandfather, Melvin Curtis Hedge.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday. Winston Williford will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: LeRoy Blasingain Jr., Jason Blasingain, Jason Hunsperger, Tony Woodworth, Jeremiah Blasingain and Rodney Basham.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Tony Branam, Jeff Riley, Ricky Riley and Michael Blasingain Jr.
