Joe Green with Green and Green discusses with Gary Popp (standing) of ANW Refrigeration of Cape Girardeau the work on the new frozen food cases at Sav-

A-Lot in Sikeston. Partially hidden behind Popp is Ron Johnson, also employed ANW Refrigeration. The new frozen food cases are part of a major renovation at the store, located at 601 N. Main St. Work began in late September and when completed later this month, the store will be "considered one of the nicest Sav-

A-Lots in the region," according to store manager Eddie Moore.?Improvements will enable the store to increase varieties in all departments and increase service, Moore added. The complete remodeling includes new produce cases, new fixtures and a fresh meat case, where Sav-A-Lot will carry all USDA choice beef. Also the store will be adding a "Deals Aisle"?and carry a line of Hispanic produce and dry goods. The Sikeston store is owned by Jeff and Brenna Burnett of Sikeston.
