Brent Robinson

Born June 28, 1983, at Poplar Bluff to Alan and Jeanie Averett Robinson of Dexter, he was a senior at Southeast Missouri State University. A 2001 graduate of Bernie Senior High School, he was active in Future Farmers of America, Beta Club and basketball.

In addition to his parents, survivors include: one sister, Dawn Smathers of Piggott, Ark.; his maternal grandmother, Fannie Averett of Dexter; paternal grandparents, F.L. and Helen Robinson of Dexter; and several aunts, uncles and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Averett Jr.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with Stan Dauck officiating.

Burial followed in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery near Dexter.
