DEXTER -- Debra Joyce Rose, 48, died May 15, 2006, at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born June 8, 1957, in St. Louis, daughter of Brenda Boon of Dexter, she was raised in Puxico and moved to Poplar Bluff before returning to Dexter where she lived for many years. She had worked as a dispatcher for B & J Trucking in Kennett and had also prepared taxes.
In Hannibal, she married Drew Rose who survives of Edinboro, Pa.
Other survivors include: one son, John Andrew Rose of Wappapello; her stepfather, Dr. Robert Boon of Dexter; and her grandmother, Marie Smith of Wappapello.
Visitation is from noon until time of services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. The Rev. Mike Watkins of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
