DEXTER -- Robert R. "Bob" Morgan, 73, died Feb. 5, 2006, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born Feb. 23, 1932, in Acorn Ridge, son of the late Ernest and Alma Robinson Morgan, he was a former plant manager for Florida Marine Tanks Inc. in Dexter, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the First Christian Church in Dexter.
On May 28, 1953, in Aurora, Ill., he married Winona "Winnie" Ream who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Ronald Morgan and Ralph Morgan of Bloomfield; two daughters, Raydean Hendrix of Dexter and Robin Rieffer of Bloomfield; three brothers, Johnny Morgan of Tucumcari, N.M., Denzil Morgan of Dexter and Larry Morgan of Punta Gorda, Fla.; three sisters, Emma Hyten of Cottontown, Tenn., Arlene Taylor of Broseley and Barbara Bailey of Fall Creek, Wis.; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Wilburn Morgan, Ernest Morgan Jr. and Arthur Morgan, and two sisters, Lois Morgan Woolard and Velva Louise Morgan Bright.
Visitation is from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Vaughn Wright officiating.
Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
