LAKE VILLAGE, Ark. -- Betty Barger Bunker, 84, died Jan. 29, 2006, at her home.
Born Dec. 29, 1921, in Sikeston, Mo., daughter of the late Euell Harrison and Myrtle Emma "Tot" Gresham Barger, she was a retired secretary for Chicot County Sheriff's Office and had previously been a bookkeeper for Bunker Gin Company, owner/operator of The Finishing Touch Gift Shop and was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Nelson Waldo "June" Bunker III, preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Nelson Waldo Bunker IV and Jack "Jed" Bunker; Jack Barger; and a grandson.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, William W. "Bill" and Claudia Dee Bunker of Lake Village; one daughter and son-in-law, Sarah Jane and Philip A. Farr Jr. of Guatemala City, Guatemala; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bishop Funeral Home in Lake Village.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lakeside United Methodist Church with the Rev. Todd-Paul Taulbee officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lake Village Cemetery.
