MALDEN - Sarah Mae Vaughn, 63, died March 3, 2006, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Dec. 7, 1942, in Calhoun City, Miss., daughter of the late Louis A. and Hallie Trammell Parker, she lived most of her life in the Dexter, Bloomfield and Essex area and was a member of the New Life Pentecostal Church of Dexter.
She married Edwin Vaughn who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, William Gene Vaughn of Dexter and Christopher Allen Vaughn of Campbell; two daughters, Regena Marie Wells of Malden and Tracy Jo Weiss of Arbyrd; one brother, Robert Parker of Gray Court, S.C.; one sister, Geneva Riley of Steele; and 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, two brothers, Vernon Parker and Oather Parker, preceded her in death.
Services were conducted today at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter. The Revs. Priscilla Riley and Jeff Riley of Tyronza, Ark., officiated.
Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
