DEXTER -- Lila Louise Werden, 72, died Jan. 7, 2008, at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Born Feb. 14, 1935, in Potoskey, Mich., daughter of the late Andrew and Thelma Louise VanDusin Robbins, she moved to Dexter in 1985. She was a member of the Full Gospel Church and had worked in the laundry for nursing homes and hospitals. She was a member of the Eagles Aerie 4062 in Dexter.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Star Werden Jr. of Dixon, Tenn.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Diane Elizabeth and Tim Merritt of Dexter, Donna Louise and Bernard Stanton of Battlecreek, Mich., and Darene Marie and Mark Simpson of Charleviox, Mich.; one brother, Lloyd Robbins, of Inverness, Fla.; one sister, Lela Betway of Marquett, Mich.; and 21 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be at 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Danny Collins of Qulin will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
