CARUTHERSVILLE - Three persons were arrested after a farmer observed their vehicle driving through a soybean field.
After the incident was reported, Pemiscot County deputies and the Missouri State Highway Patrol located the vehicle south of Caruthersville Wednesday. Three individuals were taken into custody for property damage to four individual farm fields.
The three are being held in the Pemiscot County Jail pending the filing of formal charges.
"Anyone caught damaging crops will be prosecuted," said Pemiscot County Sheriff Tommy Greenwell.
