TROY, Mich. -- Vera Edith Corbin, 89, died Jan. 25, 2006, in the William Beaumont Hospital at Royal Oak, Mich.
Born March 17, 1916, in Stoddard County, daughter of the late James and Gertie Robinson, she was a homemaker and a member of the Woodside Bible Church at Troy.
On Sept. 4, 1937, at Essex, Mo., she married William Herman Corbin Sr. who preceded her in death on April 6, 1989.
Two sons, William H. Corbin Jr. and James R. Corbin, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four daughters, Carol Dyer of Holly, Mich., Bonnie Corbin of Troy, Mary Ann Pennington of Rochester Hills, Mich., and Marilyn McClain of Berkley, Mich.; one brother, James Robinson of Dexter, Mo.; two sisters, Joyce Wamble of Dexter and Edna Long of Bloomfield, Mo.; and 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at noon Tuesday with the Rev. Don Cooper officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
