CAPE GIRARDEAU - Mildred May Hendrix, 89, formerly of Lilbourn, died Oct. 23, 2005, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born Dec. 7, 1915, in Howell, Ark., daughter of the late Herbert and Gertrude Bull Reneau, she had worked as a machine operator at the New Madrid Garment Factory.
Her first husband, Benny Woodrow Hendon Sr., preceded her in death. She then married Tom Hendrix, and he preceded her in death.
One brother and one sister also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son, Benny Hendon Jr. of Benton; two daughters, Mona Fulghum of Wilson, N.C. and Linda White of Madison, Tenn.; one sister, Emeline Taylor of San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren and nine great-
Visitation is from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Graveside services are scheduled for 3 p.m. today at the Lightner Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Lutes officiating. Burial will follow.
