Mary Sue Bridges

Born Nov. 7, 1938, at Bernie, daughter of the late Frank Carter and Alpha Mooring Carter Dowdy, she was a member of the First Baptist Church at Malden and a homemaker.

Survivors include: two sons, Brad Bridges of Bernie and Joey Bridges of Batesville, Miss.; one daughter, Tami Yarbrough of Dexter; one sister, Sharon Passley of Bernie; and 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Earl Collins.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Bernie Cemetery with the Rev. Cletus Patterson officiating.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Bernie is in charge of arrangements.
