Martha Hood

MATTHEWS - Martha J. Hood, 75, died at 9:05 p.m. Aug. 18, 2005, at Sells Rest Home from an extended illness.

Born March 13, 1930, in New Madrid County, she was adopted by the Sells family and lived in the boarding and rest home for the past 54 years.

Survivors include: Connie Mac Sells of Bloomfield, Annie Lee Sells and Ronnie Sells of Fountain Hills, Ariz., and John Sells of Sikeston.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Sells Rest Home in Matthews. The Rev. Mike Cartwright, pastor of the Canalou Assembly of God Church, will officiate.
