CHAFFEE - John Hall Darby Jr., 75, died Dec. 15, 2005, at his home.
Born Feb. 17, 1930, in Festus, son of the late John Hall and Emily Lindley Darby Sr., he was a retired master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and had worked at Thorngate in Oran. He belonged to Calvary Baptist Church.
On July 19, 1962, he married Toshiko Sakihara, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, John Darby of Lewisville, Texas and Harry Darby of Alpine, Texas; one daughter, Emily Tuttle of Minot, Maine; one brother, Jack Darby of Scott City; three sisters, Jane Mowery of Oak Ridge, Jean Anne Goodman of Scott City and June Asmus of Chaffee; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Revs. Jack Bishop and Watis Harrell will officiate.
Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
Pallbearers will be: John Darby, Harry Darby, Jon Tuttle and J.T. Cotner.
