SIKESTON -- Kevin and Colyn Wibbenmeyer have announced the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Kelly, to Jered D. Wisdom, son of Clyde and Cherri Wisdom of Sikeston.

A 2001 Sikeston High School graduate, the future bride expects to receive a bachelor's degree in elementary education in May from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

The prospective bridegroom is also a 2001 Sikeston High School graduate. He received a Bachelor of Science in fisheries and wildlife in 2005 from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

A wedding is planned for June 17 at St. Francis Xavier Church in Sikeston.
