CHARLESTON - Ozell Jones Sr., 64, died May 21, 2006, at his home.

Born Sept. 10, 1941, in Forrest City, Ark., to the late John and Essie Lee Ford Jones Sr., he lived over 46 years in the state of Missouri.

Survivors include: his wife, Joyce J. Jones, of the home; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Rodney and Pam Jones of Charleston, Ozell and Lisa Jones Jr. of Pulaski, Ill. and Allan Jones of Peoria, Ill.; five daughters and two sons-

in-law, Gloria and Herman Lewis of Forrest City, Connie and Jerrod Davidson of St. Louis, Remona Jones, Denise Jones and Joyce A. Jones, all of Charleston; four brothers and sisters-in-law, his twin, Odell and Charlotte Jones, Vernell and Juanita Balton and David and Zelma Stiddum, all of St. Louis and Jerry and Carol Sattienwhite of Forrest City; one sister, Essie B. Jones of St. Louis; and 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

One son, Ronnie Ferguson; and two brothers, Freddie Balton and John Jones Sr., preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Williams Funeral Home in Charleston.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Bowden Civic Center. The Rev. Leroy Reed will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
