SIKESTON - Ola B. McClanahan, 85, died at 8:10 a.m. Jan. 30, 2006, at Clearview Nursing Center.
Born Jan. 21, 1921, in Charleston, to the late William Carter and Althea Mae Singleton Groves, she was a member of the Sikeston Community Church.
On June 19, 1940, in New Madrid, she married Wyatt McClanahan, who survives.
Other survivors include: two daughters and a son-in-law, Sharon Morgan of Sikeston and Carolyn and Larry Miller of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two grandsons and their wives, Chris and Sarah Morgan of St. Louis and Kevin and Regina Miller of Oklahoma City; one granddaughter, Larra Miller of Oklahoma City; two great-grandchildren, Stefanie and Robert Miller of Oklahoma City; and two brothers, William "Dub" Groves of Sikeston and Junior Groves of Farmington.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Groves, and two sisters, Lucille Groves and Minnie Upshaw.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until time of services at 11 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dolan Rogers, pastor of the Bertrand Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
